What is a good way to lose weight for teens?
I want to lose some weight. I am 13 and I really want to lose like 10 pounds. I am not that active so I know if I just get outside and run around it will help. But how do I like get abs and stuff? And like get rid of extra fat?
Well the obvious would be to exercise and eat healthy, which I really do recommend. The more muscle you have, the faster your metabolism and the more calories you burn by even doing nothing! Go out for a jog, do some crunches, but make sure you keep it consistent. Set a specific and realistic goal or yourself. Also, make an effort to eat more fruits and vegetables and cut out extra fats and sugars. I promise you this is the most effective way. Plus, by having a healthy routine now, you are more likely to have a great body when you are older!
And please, don't go on a diet/starve yourself hun!

10 lbs may not sound like alot but it is. The best way seriously is to exercise, really thats how to get tone. That the way to get abs, you use the machines that strength your abdominal muscles, or you can simply do situps or crunchs everyday. Thats how I got my abs, I have a pretty fkat stomach and some definition. Exercise is the best way to lose weight and get tone. And cut back on snacks and sugar

stay off the fast food, its junk, and wasted calories, do aerobics to your favorite music, if you drink milk, give it up, its empty calories, eat cottage cheese, yogurt etc. not every body needs milk, watch what you eat, and exercise, walk your dog, or someones dog,a nice jester for shut ins, ask your parents!!!! get up and get movin!!!
