Healthy weight loss tips for teens?

I’m 15 years old.
I stand at about 5′2.
I weigh around 130-140.
It fluctuates constantly.

My mom was always a "curvy" girl at my age.
Once she hit her twenties she started getting underweight.

I don’t exactly wanna waste my childhood/teenage years
being at a weight that’s uncomfortable for me. I don’t wanna
"wait it out" I try eating healthy and I exercise for about 30 mins
a day but It’s difficult for me to drop just one pound!

Exercise tips, Healthy foods, anything I can do? – Thanks
Try to keep the answers positive- I suffer from anxiety and depression. The last thing I wanna hear is criticism.
I AM exercising. I do sports occasionally. I don’t want pills. Special foods and where I can find them would be better.

well last year i was 16, 5"6 and 240 i lost 100 pounds by completey cutting off soda, using less salt in my foods, drinking green tea, eating just a little healthier. And using the treadmill about 3 times a week ( the secret for me was putting the treadmill on 2.5-3.0 while watch a movie/show on my computer, sometimes i was on it for like 2-3 hours will out even realizing it ( i suggest headphones and an action movie, it pumps your adrenaline up and you end up walking faster). Hope it helps.

What are some weight loss tips for teens?

Nothing bad please.

Don’t let peer pressure make you want to lose weight. As a teen the only reason I wanted to lose weight was because of other boys and girls. Walk around your neighborhood 3 or 4 times a week, and don’t eat junk food.

If you do eat junk food a lot stop slowly. Start eating less and less of it. Most people eat junk food but limit their intake. That is the point of weight watchers, they eat what they want, but limit how much they eat. You also have to exercise. There are no ways around it. I have been there.

What is an easy way to lose weight for teens?

What can a teenager do to lose weight for the next year to come?

Try not to think of it as a diet, go for a healtheir lifestyle. Walk as much as possible, always take a packed lunch to school, aim to drink 2L of water a day.

Maintain a healthy lifestyle. Healty eating gives you more enrgy than the suh=gra/fat filled chocolate/chips etc.

aim to excercise a day, drink more water, and cut back on processed sugar, fats, etd/

switch white flour with whole wheats. switch chips with rice crackers.

etc.
